We understand how difficult it can be to make final arrangements for a loved one. We are here to help you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just call us (615) 865-1101 and we can meet with you at our office or in your home to make the funeral or cremation arrangements.
While we are always available to help you with your immediate requirements, we encourage you to plan in advance to avoid financial and emotional stress when death occurs. We offer pre-planning options that allow families to pay in advance, over time, for the exact service they wish to have at today’s cost.
-
During the arrangement meeting, we would cover some of the following:
- Personal information about your loved one, such as date of birth, birthplace, social security number, veterans' information, highest education, parents' names, etc.
- Information about family members to compile the obituary or death notice for the newspaper, website or simply for family record.
- Set a date/time for the funeral service, memorial service or private ceremony. Information about persons participating in the service itself, and any musical performances or selections, will be discussed.
- Merchandise selections, including casket, outer burial container/vault, or urn that will properly compliment the service you desire for your loved one.
- Discussion of final disposition, which simply means where the remains of your loved one will rest. We will coordinate with our cemetery or another cemetery to finalize all arrangements for burial, entombment, or placement of your loved one.
- It is our policy to help you make proper financial decisions keeping in mind your family’s best interests. We do not wish to place a financial burden upon you or your family. And we will work with you to ensure that the most dignified service is provided to fit your needs and budget.
You may wish to have the following list of items during the arrangement meeting to make the process less stressful. However, if you do not have this information, we will walk through the process with you and help you get organized.
