AL was a very special man. He reminded me so much of my grandfather. He was so helpful to me when I started working in BAM. He and his wife also made the most delicious breads and desserts. He was such help during our bake sales for another co-worker who was ill. I will really miss Al. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Al. He was a great supervisor in the BAM unit and we all will miss him. I am unable to attend the service for him, but please express my sympathies to the rest of the family. Love, Martha Hatfield
I have fond memories of Albert from our high school days at Mars Hill. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

I called him "Al" as every one in the BAM Unit did and he was highly respected. Al was concerned about the BAM staff employees and I enjoyed working with him for more than twenty years. BAM is a close knit unit and he left a void when he retired from the department April 14, 2017. Al will be sorely missed but to Linda and the family, as you grieve his passing know that God will give you peace and comfort. Al is in the presence of the Lord.
