Daniel was my first love, and I loved him with all of my young self, and dreamt and thought of him often for a decade after our relationship ended. Knowing him has 100% shaped who I am today... We kept in touch over the years and I feel so grateful that he and I never left things unsaid, we came to peace with the things of the past, and always helped each other along if one of us needed advice or just to vent. It destroys me that I am the only one who carries the memories that he and I shared, but I will do it with a light heart, because I know that his battles and pain and depression are now relieved. Dannie, I wish I could have held you so you weren't alone. I love you. Rest now.
We each touch many lives during our time on this earth, and Daniel touched mine when I was his computer teacher during his fifth and sixth grade years at Madison Campus Elementary. It did not take long to see that Daniel’s talent was natural when it came to computers. Working with computers was intuitive for him and he was very inquisitive. Not accepting my standard pat answers given to the class, Daniel would probe deeper and asked questions that required in-depth explanations. He could see applications for the use of computers in ways beyond what was taught. Always thrilling to witness his progress and inquisitiveness. As a person he was kind and clearly cared for others, and always eager to learn from and know others more. May we each touch the lives of others in a positive caring way like Daniel. Daniel, you will be missed and not forgotten!

Daniel spent many days at our house as he & my son were best friends for some time. He never caused any trouble. He was always respectful, kind, & gentle. I have nothing but good memories of Daniel. We were just talking a few days ago about how my daughter accidentally broke his toe while they were playing. My prayers are with all his loved ones. May the Lord bring you peace & comfort. Never in all of his 29 years did my grandson sever speak a harsh word to me. Of all my loved ones, it was Daniel that I knew positively loved me. He was a blessing to me and all the memories I have of him will carry me through this life. I can still see him twirling his hair. 😊 Oma
The news of Daniels passing was gut wrenching. I loved Daniel like a brother for many years. Anyone who knew him knows he was the most kindhearted, hard headed, genuine person around. He is going to be so missed by many people. Praying for David, Austin, family and friends during this time.
