I remember Don as such a nice man.......a good soul........always pleasant and good to be around........he worked for us at Proof of the Pudding in Atlanta for over 20 years as an "Off Premise Chef" and we could always count on him to show up on time, get the job done in an excellent manner, and be a good person to work with........as the VP/GM during those years, I always felt good when I came to check on a catering job and saw Don in the kitchen!.............RIP Don and my condolences to his family and friends!

I worked many events with Chef Don here at Proof of the Pudding. He was very talented and always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. We have missed having him around these last few years while he was struggling with his health but have many fond memories.

My name is Steve Woodroof from Akron Ohio,my dad was Willey he died 3 years ago. My best childhood memories was going on vacation to see Donnie,Doris and Ricky every year in Tennessee. I wish those days were here again,with Donnie passing away it really hits hard all the loved ones who are not here anymore.I wish I could have gotten to know more about Donnie but he was older than me and had planned to move to Atlanta before I really got to know him better.He will be missed.
