Robert Owen DePriest passed away in peace on June 23, 2023 at the age of 96 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his wife of 75 years Mary Lillian DePriest, parents Willian Henry and Eunice DePri Read Obituary
Mr. Robert was a very special man. As a 19 year old corpsman on Iwo Jima he witnessed tragedy and Old Glory in WWII. Perhaps those experiences instilled in him the values of our country and American history. He and Mary were an inspirational couple. Devoted to each other. Mary always had a twinkle in her eyes when she looked at her hero. He always has a big smile
for his sweetheart. Robert and Mary will live on in all the lives they touched from their Isaac Litton days until their last. We were so very blessed that they touched the lives of our family. Their voices will live on in our hearts and cherished memories. Sadly missed, but so happy they are together again.
