To Brian and family and our precious Meme. I just saw where Susan had passed to be with her Lord and Savior. I do not have words to fully express my shock and sympathy. My memories of Susan are so precious. She was our first “baby sitter “ other than family in Nashville. Praying for your peace and comfort.

To Brian, Peggy, family, and my dear sweet Aunt Helen - This news was a great shock to me. Many memories of the whole family, but one that has always stuck with me was Susan and I watching Brian when he was just a baby at Grandpa and Grandma Cook's house that later got taken by the state for Highway 67 just north of Fredericktown MO. My memory box doesn't always work well but pretty sure of that one. Would have been somewhere in the late 50s-ealy 60s (Brian I can't recall your age, I thought Susan was around 70 so I was off by 5 years).
Your family is in our prayers during what is a very hard and stressful time. I truly wish I could be there for the services but Mariette is going through an unpleasant time with her health. Please give Aunt Helen my love and a great big hug.

My heart and prayers go out to all of you in the loss of Susan.
My Sweet Memory of Susan is when she would fix a special dish or dessert and call me to meet her at the fence for her special dish made for Tim and I. She was as excited to fix it as we were to eat it.
Susan was "Always" proud she had come home to be with her Mom. She had told me that many times.
