I had the honor and privilege to knowing "Miss" Dorothy during the World War II Remembrance Day & Living History Encampment at the historic Amqui Station and Visitors Center in Madison. Dorothy was a wonderful, intelligent, "go-get-'em", beautiful woman. I am so glad that our paths in life crossed! She will be missed! Love and condolences to her family. Cate Hamilton

Dorthy "Dot" Dalton-McMahon was one of the finest women I have had the privilege to know. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out. She tirelessly served her country and veterans for years. She was an inspiration to all veterans, and especially military women. Dot was a member of Military Women Across the Nation (MWAN), Nashville Unit #94, (formerly WAVES National). She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Dot was an active member of Military Women Across the Nation #94. Last year she was our guest speaker and told us about her experiences being in the Women's Army Corp in WWII. She was a ground breaking woman in everything that she did. She helped pave the way for other women after her so they could pursue their dreams and use their full potential. I am forever grateful for her service to our great nation. We will miss your smiling face and wit. Rest in peace Dot. You were a lovely and amazing woman.
