Mrs. Hallie Jean Ingram
January 5, 1932 - January 29, 2022
Hallie “Jean” Ingram passed peacefully at the age of 90 on January 29th, 2022. She was born in Norene, Wilson County, Tennessee to Annie Lou and Porter Fisher. She was married 40 years to John Wesley Ingram until his passing in 1989. They resided in Nashville Tennessee where they raised three sons, Kenneth Dale, Kerry Michael and Kevin Randall Ingram. She loved her two Grandchildren, Kenneth Michael and Rachael Elaine. Jean and Wesley loved camping in their motorhome at Magnolia Beach Campground in Panama City, Florida each year for family vacations along with their dog Clipper. They loved traveling to Nascar races and Bluegrass Festivals. She was a great southern cook and there were holiday traditions of her and her Mother-in-Law, Pearl “Big Mama” in the kitchen together at Christmas and making fresh Coconut Custard Pies with piles of meringue to share with the family. For many years, she found so much joy in working with ceramic arts, knitting and reading a romance novel almost daily. She worked most of her life, retiring from Tennessee Tufting after 26 years. Hallie Jean is survived by her son, Kevin Randall Ingram (Sharon), Grandson Kenneth Michael Ingram (Dana), Granddaughter Rachael Elaine Knoph (Bob), Great Grandson Kane Michael Ingram, Daughter-in-Law Kaye Ingram (Laura and Mary Margaret), Brother Wayne Hamilton Fisher, and family member James Mitchell Shelton. She will be laid to rest at Spring Hill Cemetery on March 7th, 2022, and buried next to her husband, John Wesley Ingram, and sons Kerry Michael and Kenneth Dale Ingram, that have preceded her in death. There will be a casual graveside Celebration of Life with family at 2:45pm.
