I am a Jan fan. I love her music and so enjoy watching her on Grand Ole Opry and Country family reunions. With YouTube now I have watched her appearances on other shows she did. I always notice how graceful and ladylike she was on stage. 'For Loving You' is one of my all-time favorite country songs. God bless Jan's family, friends and fans.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Jan. We have lovely memories of days out with Jan showing her the castles of Northumberland and the historic Hadrian's Wall when she came to England to perform at the Sage, Gateshead in 2013. It was a a privilege to have met her.
Sincere condolences to the family.

Condolences to the entire Howard Family. Jan was a patriot for her support of our service men and women, an accomplished singer sand song writer. It was always a pleasure seeing her on Country’s Family Reunion. She loved her music and her country and was not afraid to show it. Prayers for the family at this time. God bless you all.

I never had the Honor to have met Ms. Howard. I have listen to her for years and loved her music and stories. I have always considered her the Classiest Lady of The Grand Ole Opry. May The Lord be with you all during this time in your lives. May she RIP. God Bless you all... Clayton Taft Nunda, NY
Dear Corky,
The sad news of your Mom's death came as such a surprise. When my brother, Jimmy, died in 2014, Jan shows up to the funeral home, bringing pictures of our Jimmy and your Jimmy, both so young and vibrant. Jan was so strong and healthy at that time. Her presence then was a blessing to my brother, Eddie, our mother and me.
I'm grateful that you have children and grandchildren to share stories and to keep her memory alive.
Please accept my condolences for your loss.
