Mr. John Lawrence Bartlebaugh

July 17, 1948 - January 27, 2022

John Lawrence Bartlebaugh, 73, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Born July 17, 1948 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John Forrest Bartlebaugh and Gloria May Green Bartlebaugh. He graduated high school in Carrollton, Ohio. He lived several years in Medina, Ohio, before moving to Nashville where he made his home. John enjoyed gathering with friends, sharing knowledge, expertise and doing just what he liked to do. He was very knowledgeable and skilled and sought after for information, data, skills and experience. He could build race cars, go carts, dirt bikes, RC planes, and he could drive or fly each of those proficiently. From his old business card: “JB Engineering – Solving problems for modelers”. John loved flying remote control planes and was a well respected and revered long standing member of a local RC Plane club here in the Nashville area. He had a hearty unmistakable laugh that we will all miss. He is survived by brothers; Jim (Elaine) Bartlebaugh; Larry (Tina) Bartlebaugh; and his sister, Janet (David) Noyes; and several nieces and nephews. Also many beloved friends in the area who had become his Nashville family. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
