Mrs. Patti Joyce Davidson

Patti Joyce Davidson, 65, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at her home. Born April 8, 1956, in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Carl Thomas Hunt and Faye Hunt Whiteside. Patti was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly. She retired from Metro Nashville Police Department after 25 years. She made you feel like family and was always ready to welcome you with open arms. She claimed to like crocheting/knitting/sewing, but her family thinks she just liked collecting yarn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Fran Hunt. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Richard Alan Davidson; daughters Carol (Terry) Morris and Mandy (Sanders) Gammons; a nephew that she raised, Patrick (Dawn) Hunt; sisters Carla Hunt and Janet Jones; brother Wade Hunt; grandchildren Tyler Morris, Colin (Ashley) Morris, Hannah Gammons, Ava Gammons, Tenley Morris, and Renner Gammons; great grandchildren Aubree, Chevy, and C.J.; nephew Dalton (Abbey) Hunt; niece Jessica Byrn; and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 3 pm until 8 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville.
