I had the privilege of working with Sid for several years at WLAC Radio. Sid was my immediate superior, and I never had a kinder and more considerate boss than he. We also became friends over the years as we both retired from our respective jobs and loved to swap stories about our grandchildren. He even drove down to Lewisburg where I presently live to have lunch at the local Shoney's and just visit. We loved to swap radio stories and just jokes in general. I can still hear his laugh. I was greatly saddened to hear the news of his passing when Darlene called me. One of our fellow employees was named Clyde Weir and he best described Sid once as "A prince among men." That just about catches it. Goodbye, old friend. Sincerely, Bill
