Great guy, Great friend, smart talented and a good bandleader in my experience.
While I was living in the Cottage on Bonnie's property, I got to know Darryl and I always loved his sense of humor. He was a help to me many times just when I needed it. He was a lot like his Mom and would lend an ear to listen to my problems. He loved to pick at me and his Mom, sometimes by blowing the horn when we were sitting on her porch enjoying the Sun. I always threatened to get an OOOGA Horn and blow it at him. I called him Popcorn Man, because he loved his Popcorn. Sometimes I would get him to sing songs to me when I was sitting on my porch or right inside. He had a wonderful voice and was a very talented young man just like his Mom and Dad. I am really going to miss him but I can't begin to understand how his Dear Mother Bonnie Douglas and his wife and all the members of his family and many friends are going to. I took Videos of Darryl singing at Scoreboard in Music Valley and when I can find them, I will share them. Prayers to all.
We will forever love and miss you, big brother. I have many menories to share but definitely not enough💔
