Darryl Wayne Douglas' Obituary
Darryl Wayne Douglas, 57, of Old Hickory, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Douglas and grandparents, Claud "pappy" and Bertha Cantrell. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Sheila Douglas, mother, Bonnie Douglas, five children, Derek Wayne Douglas, Tomasina Garner, Brandon Ignash, Sarah Gleespen and her husband Ben, and Jessica Cox and her husband Jason, eight grandchildren, Brianna Douglas, Julie Hanse, Cammeron Garner, Natalie Gleespen, Cannon Garner, Carter Cox, DanniAnn Garner and Hunter Cox, five siblings, Kevin Douglas, Darla Douglas, Dana McDowell and her husband Bob, Mickey Bryan and her husband Jay and Bertina Jobson and her husband Mark, and many more extended family members.
Mr. Douglas was an author, song writer, singer, and musician who could play any instrument especially his guitar. He was a member at Freedom Church in Gallatin and was the General Manager at Mapco.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 4 from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral at 2:00 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The committal service will immediately follow.
