Dear Aunt Geneva, Keith, Brenda and family,
Ken (Kenny) emailed me yesterday telling me of the passing of Uncle Emery. I am so sorry for your loss… I know that you will miss him very much. He always had a smile for everyone… a gentle man, a gentlemen. I know that you, Aunt Geneva, will be lonely without him as you always seemed inseparable.
When I was 'home' last Allen, Ken and I talked about going up to Gallatin to visit but time slipped away from us and now I regret not making it happen. I have many great memories starting when I was quite young and you guys lived on Baxter Avenue in that cute little cottage house. Aunt Geneva's tuna sandwiches with dill pickles are still a favorite, a comfort food. Uncle Emery always laughing at the Morgan gatherings shenanigans! He always showed interest in my ministry and work overseas… he loved travel and liked to talk about where I have been.
The great news is that he has just 'crossed over'… and we will meet again. He is with Jeffrey and the rest of our loved ones who have made the journey thru the years. No pain, no sickness, no physical limitations… he is healed and free!
I am writing to you from England this morning and praying God's Peace and Joy thru the sadness. I am sorry to miss Uncle Emery's celebration of life… but I will be thinking of him and remembering him with great affection. I am praying for you all.
With Love, Randall
"Randy Morgan" nephew
