He was my sonshine. He was my gift from God.I was not suppose to have any more children.He was pure love and kindness. He was to good for this mean old world. He saved me. More than once. Rest easy my young son your momma loved you more than anyone person or thing. Jesus has you in his loving arms.I know you found peace.
Mac was my son in law.We have many years and memories but most of all he gave us Mac jr. The most precious gift. I know he is around us and watching over him. He looks like his dad and eases the pain of our loss. We will miss you forever macaroni. Rest easy son.
He made me laugh literally everyday. I knew him almost a year and I feel so blessed to have that time with him. Seeing your smile was the thing I looked forward to everyday. Our time together ended too soon; I wish I could laugh with him at our cat again. RIP
Mac was a dear friend of mine, and although we never met in person we spent countless hours, day after day, over the years gaming together in our little gaming crew. Mac had an incredible sense of humour and was always making those around him laugh. I will miss the late night chats, meme exchanges and reading your latest poetry, talking about music and much shoosting in cod. I have told many stories of my life before the army to my soldiers. Many including Mac. The fun times we've had working together and hanging out after work. Those are days i cherish, back when i was a normal person. The news hit me harder then losing a battle buddy. I miss you and ill see you again on the other side. Save a spot for us all.
I had the gift of sharing a beautiful son with Mac. When I think of him, I always remember the goofy sweet big kid at heart that he always was. We shared so much laughter, and we were the same person on so many levels. He deserved so much better. He was the best dad he knew how to be, he loved our son. He was always such a people person, anytime we were at gatherings, people just were pulled to him because he was so charismatic. You could tell his favorite thing was to make people laugh, and he did just that. I have regrets, and I have things I wish I could change, I’m sorry that I can’t now. I thought we had more time to figure ourselves out. I will always miss you, and thank you for leaving me with a little piece of you, he’s just like you and I hope you’ll watch over us forever. My name is Gregg Lees, Mac and I go waaay back. Countless hours of playing guitar, stomping through the woods finding antique bottles, playing video games. The only person I went squirrel hunting with. It would take a book to cover all the memories. In short, we had a BLAST. Hearing the news yesterday that he is no longer with us deeply saddened me. I feel like I have lost a part of my childhood. Though we had grown distant in the past years Mac was someone who I greatly appreciated. I loved that man like a brother.
