I feel blessed to have attended Bishop Byrne from 1978-82 because of the high quality of instructors like Mrs. Fitzgerald. May God bless her family with peace.

I will always remember Jane for the beautiful smocking techniques she taught me while she was at Bishop Byrne High School.
I will forever remember coming in the afternoon from school with Becca and having long chats with Jane. I mostly remember her always looking beautiful and she always had on her lipstick, makeup and pretty clothes! She loved a real Coke! She was such a gracious, sweet lady! I will miss her! ❤️
I was in the checkout line in Target today. I recognised the woman working the register as someone Miss Jane had been chatty with when we had visited Target together a few months ago.
I asked her if she knew Miss Jane, likely a frequent customer. Oh, yes she said, so I told her of her passing. She was visibly shocked, but went on to tell me of how Miss Jane had asked her to coffee one time going through her checkout. They decided to meet at Panera on a few occasions... I think both ladies had a blast. I thought how typical of this lady Jane... To make friends wherever she may be, to make that person feel special and cherished. I know, she did it to me! As one of those fortunate to have enjoyed coffee with her, I know how proud she was of her family and deservedly so. How they are so like her in her warm and loving approach to people of all shapes and sizes.. It's a wonderful gift. And I shall miss her terribly.
We remember Jane & Charles when we were young folks together along with many other sweet friends. Jane was a remarkable person with incredible gifts. We always admired the Fitzgerald’s for being so dedicated to the Lord, each other & family. May God bless & watch over all the family members who will miss her. Our sympathy & prayers go out.

Before the youngest children started school Jane invited Margie and me over to a play date with Harrison and Rebecca. We had so much fun!
