I was very sad to read about the death of my dear friend, Arnold! He was a very important part of our state Adult and Community Education staff during the latter part of the 1980s and early 1990s. He was our budget analyst and was responsible for our internal budget as well as all budgets that we had in each of our state's 95 counties. Arnold was a true gentleman and a wonderful, supportive, selfless colleague. Arnold, indeed, left this world a better place for having lived in it! Arnold was such a good, sweet man. I loved how his eyes would light up on those Sunday mornings when I surprised everyone because I'd come back to Nashville for a visit. I am so, so sorry for your loss.

Rachel, Charles and I are so sorry in your temporary separation by death of your beloved Arnold. Arnold was a long-time friend from my earliest years. His days of suffering are now over and the time of rejoicing with His Lord, seeing his family and friends in Heaven has begun. The sadness is left with family and friends here on earth. Please know I will be lifting all of you in prayer during these lonely days.

I will miss you Uncle Arnold. You were a man of great integrity. Your great love for your family and the Lord was always evident. You and Aunt Rachel would always go to the Tennessee Vols games. You fought to live, but the good Lord had other plans for you right now. I remember that you always called me "Jackie Anne" and that meant so much to me. We love you, Don and Jackie Anne McCormick.
