William Bennett Collins Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. William Bennett Collins, Jr. He was born to the late William Bennett Collins, Sr. and Betty Jean Whitlock Collins on January 1st, 1959 in Nashville, Tennessee. William proudly served his country as a Marine, “Oorah!” He had such an outgoing, humorous, and fun personality, and was known for striking up a conversation anywhere he went with whomever he met. He was a man of the woods and loved to camp. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies, from fishing, playing softball, to watching horror films. He treasured his family above all, and his love and light are forever in their hearts. He is preceded in death by his parents William Sr. and Betty, and brother Michael Collins. He is survived by his daughter Alicia Coffindaffer (Temple); stepdaughter Catherine Bon; grandchildren Arnold Bon, Joshua Matudan, Christopher Matudan, Kerstin Coffindaffer, Eva Coffindaffer, and William Coffindaffer; sisters Georgia McQuinston and Charlotte Collins; and a host of dear friends. No services are planned for Mr. Collins at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, “Where Nashville Comes to Remember.”
