Addie Ailene Crowell's Obituary
CROWELL, Addie Ailene CooperAge 85 of Madison, TN. Passed away on March 29, 2009. She was a long-time member of Lebanon Road Church of Christ. She was born in Fairview, TN. Her fondest memories were of life on the farm. She was very artistic, loved music and enjoyed writing short stories about animals on the farm and rural America. She also enjoyed needlework and quilting, which she gave to members of her family. She was one of the founders of the family owned business Variety Jewelers. She worked in sales and was a homemaker and great cook. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Daniel Stephen Crowell. She is survived by her husband, C.H. Crowell, Sr.; 3 sons, Craven H. Crowell, Jr. and his wife Freddie, David R. Crowell and his wife Brenda, Joel E. Crowell and his wife Sharon; 1 daughter, Levern Marcrum and her husband Jean; Daniel's wife, Brenda; 3 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Monday at the Spring Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Virgil Hale and Bro.
