Mr. Albert Walter Reeves' Obituary
Albert (Al) Walter Reeves, 90, went to his heavenly home on Jan. 30, 2019. Born Columbus, Ohio 1928 to Walter and Georgette Reeves. Preceded in death by his brother, Harold Reeves. Attended Columbus schools and The Ohio State University before moving to Clearwater, FL. While Living in Florida he was active in the United Methodist Church, serving as lay leader of the Florida Conference. In 1970 he moved to Nashville. He worked as a shorthand reporter from age 22 until retirement in 1989. Through the years he enjoyed working with and selling antiques.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Marjorie (Margie). Two daughters, Susan (Dale) Richardson and Janet Reeves. Three grandchildren, Shannon (Nathan) Dampf, Meredith Richardson and Grant (Skyler) Richardson and five great grandchildren. Two nephews, Bill (Marla) Weiglein and Mike (Jean) Reeves and two nieces, Carol (Jim) Graff and Marcia (Len) Showalter and beloved sister in law, June Weiglein of Hendersonville. Al and Margie lived in Donelson and for the past five years at Maybelle Carter Senior Living, Madison.
