Alene Hester's Obituary
February 16th, 1936 - May 23rd, 2025
Born in Tupelo on February 16th, 1936, Alene Hester embraced life with love and laughter. Her passions were collecting porcelain dolls, tending to her garden, and delighting in the flutter of hummingbirds. Alene was a lifelong member of Church of Christ of East Nashville. While taking care of her family and babysitting, she enjoyed selling Avon.
She shared her warmth and humor generously, touching the lives of all who knew her. A devoted wife to her late husband, James F. Hester, she was the loving mother of Jimmie Hester, Eathel Jackson, Mary (Eddie) Cowley, Candy Hester, and the late Daniel Hester. Her joy multiplied with her grandchildren, Chris and Denise Carter, and Joshua (Krystle) Parker; great grandchildren, Christopher Carter JR, Cursti Carter, Isaiah and Alyssa, who brought her immense pride and happiness.
As we celebrate Alene's beautiful life, we hold dear the joyful memories and the love she so generously shared. Her spirit lives in the hearts of her family and friends, a lasting legacy of love and laughter.
