Mrs. Altha Hoover's Obituary
Mrs. Altha K. Warner Hoover, 87, widow of Harry Hoover, died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at her residence in Madison.
The Nashville native was the daughter of the late John Rucker and Ora Glen Warner. She was a life-long babysitter and was of the Church of Christ faith. She enjoyed cooking gardening, crossword puzzles, the Atlanta Braves, country music and sitting in her swing. Her passion in life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known to be a caretaker to everyone that needed assistance.
She is survived by a daughter, Melissa (Mark) Bennett; a brother, Ronald Warner; four grandchildren, Crystal (Joey) Carlisle, Mark (Sabrina) Bennett, Josh Bennett, and Damien (Linda) Bennett; seven great grandchildren, Kyus, Raylee, Carson, Dewey, Austin, Avery, and Abbi; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Lentz.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 2:00pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 3:00 until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
