Mrs. Amanda Bearden Oakes' Obituary
Amanda Bearden Oakes, age 34 of Hendersonville, TN took flight to be with her Lord on Friday, January 1, 2016 after a long fight with diabetes.
Amanda was born in Nashville, TN on January 4, 1981. Raised in Hendersonville and was a 1999 graduate of Beech High School.
She is preceded in death by grandparents, Martin and Virginia Bearden and Jere B. and June Holt.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Jeremiah Oakes of Hendersonville; daughter Taylor Wirtz of Hendersonville, TN; son Jackson Wynne of White House, TN; step children Landon, Sarah, Hunter, and Natalie Oakes of Gallatin, TN. Also born to and survived by parents, Lloyd and Becky Bearden of Hendersonville, TN; brother Patrick (Michelle) Bearden of White House, TN; step grandmother Bonnie Holt of Nashville, TN; aunts, uncles and many cousins.
The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses, and techs at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, Hendersonville, TN for the great care and love they have given for Amanda and family.
Family will receive friends Monday, January 4, 2016 2:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016, 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Butcher of Brush Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Nashville, TN. and Pastor John McLendon of GodWhy, Hendersonville, TN. officiating. Following service, burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends will serve as pallbearers.
