Ammon Marie Ogle's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Ammon Marie Ogle on March 8th, 2023 in Smyrna, Tennessee. Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery is honored to care for the family during this time.
Ammon was born on April 12th, 1949 in Nashville, Tennessee to James Thomas Kirby and Mary Skelley Kirby. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Every day was a wonderful day when you were with Ammon. She wore the biggest smile and had a heart of gold flowing in abundance with humor, kindness, and love. Her happy places were among her family (especially the great-grandchildren) and on the shores of Panama City Beach, Florida. Her memory will forever be a treasure, and her presence will be dearly missed.
Ammon is preceded in death by her beloved parents James and Mary Kirby and brother James “Jimmy” Kirby Jr. She is survived by her daughters Tina (Donnie) Melton and Amy (Jason) Davis; sisters Barbara Thompson, Betty (Walter) Cole, and Sue (Tommy) Stone; grandchildren Kala Beal, Murphy Schubert, Gracey (Logan) Storey, Daimon Melton, and Natalie (Hunter) Burnette; great-grandchildren Rion Beal, Brady Beal, and Evelyn Burnette; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to attend the visitation on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023, from ten o’clock in the morning to twelve o’clock in the afternoon until the time of the service at twelve o’clock at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216. Burial will follow at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery at one o’clock in the afternoon.
