Mrs. Anita M. Pate's Obituary
Born on December 25, 1922 in Delina, TN to the late Earl E. and Janie Caldwell Moyers and passed away on January 7, 2018 in Hendersonville, TN at the age of 95.
Preceded in death by husband, Forrest Pate, Sr. Survived by son, Forrest (Judy) Pate, Jr.; grandsons, Blaine (Michelle) Pate and Nathan (Heather) Pate; great-grandchildren, Elise Pate, Shelby Pate, and Forrest Pate, IV; and siblings, David Moyers and Murial Coble.
She was a long-time resident of Madison, TN and was an active member of City Road Methodist Church and the Hayes Sunday School class. She was active in many civic organizations throughout the community over many decades and spent 25 years as a Pink Lady volunteering at Nashville Memorial and Skyline Hospitals. Along with her community interests, she also taught ceramics for over 20 years in her home.
Visitation from 12-2 p.m. will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Saturday, January 13, 2018 with a service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jay Vorhees officiating. Interment to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to City Road Methodist Church.
