Jim and John, I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I worked for your father in the 70's. I remember when she would come into the office, Dr. Harrison's face would just light up and he would grin from ear to ear. What a delightful, gracious and full of life woman she was. I'm sure that they are together again and having a big time. May your fond and happy memories help you during this difficult time. Prayers to you and your families.

I am so sorry to receive this word of the passing of your mother. We went to school together at Bailey Jr. High from 2nd grade through 9th and then on to East High. she was a life-long friend.
We shared a ride to East in Joe Little's car and one day we had a flat tire - in sight of the School. But we waited for an hour to fix the flat. went back to Ann's house planning to stay out all day. But Ann had to call her daddy to let him know. He said," Ann, if you are going to "play hookey" from school, then come on over to the store (he owned a grocery) and you can work here. I can use the help. " Needless to say , we decided to go on to school. To Mr. Oliver, Joe and I had an elaborate story of car trouble. Mr. Oliver sent us on to class , asked Ann for the real story, and she "fessed up." Her integrity saved us all from deserved detention!
The last time I saw Ann was 3-4 years ago when I visited her at the assisted-living residence in Bellevue. Before I left, I had a short prayer with her. When I finished, she said she wanted to lead a prayer (in school she was often the one who did the morning devotional and prayer). She prayed a beautiful prayer and gave thanks for me and our friendship - always thinking of others. I shall miss this great friend.
