Mrs. Anna Marie Bearden's Obituary
Bearden, Anna Marie Lovell, age 86, of Nashville, passed away September 15, 2013, in Florida, the place she and her beloved husband loved to vacation. Marie’s life story began April 6, 1927 in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of John and Anna (Reed) Lovell. She met the love of her life, RC Bearden, in a drugstore where she worked and they married December 20, 1946.
Marie was a loving, giving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Marie had many losses in her life but she remained a faithful Christian until her death. She was a member of Riverwood Church of Christ for over 50 years. Her losses were taken in stride because she trusted God’s plan.
Marie is reunited with her loved ones, her beloved husband, RC Bearden, her daughter, Sherrie Baxter, her son, Mike Bearden, her grandchildren, Shane Baxter and Stacey Tidwell, her great-granddaughter, Samantha Baxter, her parents, John and Anna Lovell, her brothers and sisters, John, Albert, Raymond, Wayne and Russell Lovell, Sarah Elizabeth McCool and Barbara Evitts.
Those who will miss Marie “Meme” most include her daughter, Terrie Tidwell and her husband Mike, her grandchildren Chay (Derrick) Hamilton, Brian Tidwell, and Taylor Bearden and her great-grandchildren, Lucas and Brooke Hamilton and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Services to celebrate Marie’s life and return to the loving arms of Jesus will be at 10:00 am Saturday at Spring Hill Funeral Home, with Dustin Welch officiating. Pallbearers will be John Baldwin, Larry Bearden, Elton Buttrey, Bill Clark, Dennis Green and Donnie McCool. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 - 7 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5510 Gallatin Rd @ Briley Parkway, Nashville, TN 37216 (615) 865-1101. Memorials may be directed to your local Hospice.
