Anyone who knew my mom, Anna, knew that the love of her life revolved around all things sewing: pageant dresses, wedding and bridesmaids dresses, quilting, knitting, crocheting, monogramming...the list goes on, I am sure.
She designed and created my wedding dress which is one of a kind and showed her amazing creativity. (My husband loves the thought of Anna's use of fishing line in the ruffles!) She also made all my bridesmaids dresses, and all my flower girl dresses! (I had so many beautiful flower girls in my wedding!) She wouldn't have had it any other way.
Most recently, she had been creating quilts with photos of family members worked into the design. Those were a lot of hard work and I'm not sure how many she finished, but they are a testament to her diligence and creativity.
