Anne Claire Almand's Obituary
Anne Claire Wingett Almand, age 92, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on January 29th, 2024. She was born on September 26th, 1931, in Nashville.
She graduated from Isaac Litton High School, and attended the University of Tennessee. She traveled with her husband, who was in the Air Force, to Germany, Alaska, and many other states. She worked as a librarian until her retirement. She will be missed beyond words.
Anne is preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Hugh H. Wingett; husband Jay Almand; and sisters-in-law Jane Wingett and Caroll Wingett. She is survived by her three brothers George H. (Joanne) Wingett, Hugh H. Wingett, and David R. Wingett; six nieces and nephews; 5 great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Per her wishes, Anne will be cremated and laid to rest at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in a private ceremony.
