Anne R. Nichols' Obituary
Mrs. Anne R. Nichols, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2010 at the age of 89 years. She was born in Spruce Pine, NC. She met Robert Nichols and they were married for 49 years until his passing in 1983. Anne retired from nursing many years ago. After, she published the company newspaper while working with her husband, Robert, Sr., owner/operator of National Paint & Oil Co. in Nashville. She was a member of the Herb Society of Nashville and Cheekwood of Nashville and loved bird watching. Anne moved to Leesburg, FL from Bakersfield, NC in October of 2007. She is remembered by her sisters, Catherine Belle Revis of Weaverville, NC, Betty Penly of Whittier, NC and Phyllis Sparks and her husband, Frank of Leesburg; step-son, Bob Nichols and his wife, Pat as well as several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Ceremony will be held on Friday, June 11 at 11 am at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville. Arrangements are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home, Nashville, 615-865-1101.
