Annie Marie Sapp's Obituary
Annie Marie Sapp, age 93 of Madison, TN passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012. Mrs. Sapp was born in Nashville, TN on April 13, 1919 to August and Mary Francis McDearmon Weis. Her family owned and operated John Weis Barber and Beauty Supply, the only store of its kind in Nashville at the time. She married Alton Sapp and enjoyed many years together before his passing in 1978. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Madison where she dedicated her time to Loaves and Fishes, a Catholic charity which helped feed the homeless. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, George Francis and John Weis; and sister, Margaret Pigue. She is survived by her son, Joe (Shirley) Sapp; daughter, Mary Sapp; grandchildren, Lisa Waggener, Renee (Randy) Alexander, Pam Birdwell and Debby Farmer; brother, Fred Weis; nine great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and two on the way. A funeral mass will be conducted at 1 P.M., Thursday, November 8, 2012 from St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 3 P.M. until 8 P.M., Wednesday and from 11 A.M. until 12:30 P.M., Thursday at Spring Hill Funeral Home. The Madison Church of Christ Little Angels Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
