Mrs. Annie Odelle Troxler's Obituary
Annie Odelle Shoffner Troxler, age 98, of Nashville, TN, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen Low and Mary Pearl Shoffner; husband, Aubrey Lee Troxler; one son, Kevin Troxler; one brother, Allen Shoffner. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Hill (Lynn); son, Joel Troxler (Suzy); four grandchildren, Allen Troxler, Adam Troxler, Ben Troxler, Emily Hill Humerick (Travis); three great-grandchildren, Miles Troxler, Ava Troxler, Jacob Humerick. Odelle was a good cook, skilled seamstress and strong in her faith. She was very involved in different programs at Dalewood Baptist Church where she attended for 40 years. After her children were in college, she served as a substitute teacher in Metro Schools. Graveside Services for Odelle will be conducted on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Shofner Lutheran Cemetery, Shelbyville, TN, beginning at 2 PM, by Dr. Lynn Hill. Masks and social distancing will be observed. Friends and family are requested to meet at the cemetery prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dalewood Baptist Church, 1586 McGavock Pk, Nashville, TN 37216 or Shofner Lutheran Chapel, c/o Michael Shoffner, 1100 Bugscuffle Road, Wartrace, TN, 37183. The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to the staff at NHC-Franklin for taking excellent care of "Momieo" for the last four and one-half years.
