Ans Wylemans, age 85 of Madison, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023. She was born on November 9, 1938 in Nijmegen, Netherlands to the late Hermanes Arnoldes and Jacoba Hendrika Knoop Schuurman. Preceded in death by her parents, son Kevin Wylemans, sister Truus Schuurman and brother Wim Schuurman. She is survived by her loving companion Bob Love; granddaughters Hailey Zajac (Daniel) and Danielle Wylemans; great-grandchildren Faylin and Sydney Zajac; daughter-in-law Lisa Wylemans and her loving pet, Pascha.
Ans was raised in the Netherlands during WWII. That was a very difficult time for her and her family. She came to the United States over 60 years ago. She worked in retail sales for 28 years beginning with Castner Knotts and ending with Macy’s Department Store in Rivergate.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 22, 2023, 12:00 noon in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Father Patrick Kibby officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the services. She will be laid to rest in the Serenity Chapel Mausoleum immediately following the services.
