Arnold Lee Jones Sr.'s Obituary
Arnold was born in Nashville and spent 72 energetic years filling every day with hard work, family time, and the roar of fast engines. Those who knew him remember a man who was loyal, humble, honest, hardworking, and responsible traits he carried into every part of his life. Sports brought him joy, especially and cheering for the WNBA while watching Caitlin Clark’s sharp shooting.
Away from the TV, he could be found racing, hot rods, or polishing his cherished 1957 Cheverolet Bel Air. Earlier in life he also enjoyed riding colts and caring for animals, hobbies that showed his steady hands and kind heart. Family always came first. He shared countless proud moments with Arnold Lee Jones Jr. (Paula) – son; Dana Jones his daughter; Earlene Bowden (Mack), Linda Biggs his sisters; Grandchildren – Jefferey Bond, Javon Bond, Jaymes Bond, Johnny Bond, and Heather Fields Arnold; great grandchildren, Aliyah, Layla, Alan and Naomi often said he was simply “a hardworking man who loved his family,” and every mile he drove and every game he watched proved those words true. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Mary Jones. He passed in Tennessee, leaving memories of honest smiles, polished chrome, and lively game-day cheers. As we gather to celebrate his beautiful life, may we keep his responsible spirit and humble strength alive in our own lives.
