Arnold E. Yeargin's Obituary
Arnold Eugene "Buster" Yeargin, age 99, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024 at his home in Gallatin, TN surrounded by family. Mr. Yeargin was born on August 15, 1924 in Nashville, TN to parents Robert Cicero and Sarah Moses Yeargin. He is survived by wife Jeanet Yeargin, sons Robert A. Yeargin, Mark Yeargin, daughter Lori Jo Yeargin, stepsons Rocky (Melinda) Jones and Brett (Sheila) Jones, stepdaughters Shawn (Bill) Webster, Cyndi (Russell) Palmer and Richele (Chris) McHenry, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents Robert and Sarah Yeargin, son Joe Yeargin, daughter-in-law Sandra Yeargin, sisters Hazel, Helen, Alice, Frances, Ruth, Edith and Ethel and brothers Robert Jr. and John.
Mr. Yeargin attended East High School in Nashville and then served 4 years in the United States Army during World War II.
After a long, successful business career he enjoyed traveling, his church family, watching the Atlanta Braves and spending time with his devoted wife of 40 years.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 8th, 2024 from 11:00 in the morning until 12:45 in the afternoon, with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 in the afternoon at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216.
Pallbearers will be Russell Palmer, Bill Webster, Grant Jones, Daniel Palmer, Matthew Palmer and Benjamin Palmer.
