Ashton Izaiah Black's Obituary
Our lives were forever changed by the beautiful birth of Ashton Izaiah Black on August 14, 2008. After a rough but blessed 21 months of life he was welcomed into heaven at 4 p.m. on May 12, 2010.Surviving are his parents Josh and Amanda (Raitz) Black. Also surviving is his sister, Adriana Black. Grandparents are Randy Raitz, Kelly (Elchert) Omlor, Charles and Carol Black. Great-grandparents are Charlene and Jerry Raitz, Janis and Tim Fish, Lois Dearsman, Charles Black Sr., William and Deborah J. Elchert. Great-great-grandparents are Sarah and Clyde Fish and Virginia and Ray Mathews.Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 17, 2010 at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria. Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Tiffin.Ashton was such a strong fighter all of the way until the end. He spoke volumes without being able to say a single word. He has touched so many hearts, even for people whom he had never even met. There is not a day that will go by without us thinking of him and he will be in our lives forever. We know he is shining down from above and will be our angel for the rest of our lives.Memorial contributions may be made to the Ashton Black memorial fund in care of Old Fort Bank at 33 E. Market St. in Tiffin.
