Audrey V. Basford's Obituary
BASFORD, Audrey V. “Nanny”; Age 74 of Goodlettsville, TN, went to be with her Lord and sons on April 27, 2012. Audrey was born in Nashville, TN on March 29, 1938 to the late Zoney and Mable Creasey. She was preceded in death by her sons, Barry Basford and Bobby Basford Jr. She is survived by Bobby Basford Sr., daughter, Beverly (Garry) Asberry; grandchildren, Brian Stewart and Andrea (Ryan) Alexander; great-grandchildren, Kayli and Makenzie; sister, Joyce Fann. Audrey was a constant light at her home church of Dickerson Road Baptist. She loved the music and the Joy Sunday School class. She will be remembered by all who knew her as an illuminating spirit and will be greatly missed. Her life will be celebrated by family and friends at a funeral ceremony on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 2PM in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Fisher officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-8PM and Mon from 11-2 at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY
