Mr. Austin "Tooter" Ragan's Obituary
Austin “Tooter” G. Ragan; age 86 of Nashville, TN. Passed away July 8, 2016. He is preceded in death by His parents, James Walter Ragan and Mary Cunningham Ragan; son, Philip Ragan; and 4 brothers.
He is survived by his loving Wife of 65 years, June Ragan; son, Randy Ragan; daughter, Cinde (Greg) Robinson; and 2 grandchildren.
Mr. Ragan was a loving and kind, family man. He enjoyed playing golf and was a life-long member of Tulip Street United Methodist Church. Mr. Ragan was a godly man who served as a sergeant in the Korean War with an honorable discharge. He was a member of Buena Vista East Nashville Masonic lodge 560 and a Shriner clown.
.A celebration of life service will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville, TN. Celebration will take place on Wednesday July 13, 2016 at 10am. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday July 12, 2016 from 4pm- 8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Masonic ceremony will take place Tuesday July 12, 2016 at 7pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Reverend Dr. Hyeon Sik Hong will be officiating the service.
