Barbara LeMaria Burgess' Obituary
Barbara LeMaria Burgess, age 63, passed away peacefully at her home in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, on January 22, 2026.
Barbara was born on November 10, 1962, while her father was stationed at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. She was the daughter of Aubrey Roy Burgess and Mary Ann Gattis Burgess Goodwin.
Barbara proudly served her country as a veteran of the United States Army, completing three years of honorable service and receiving the Army Commendation Medal. Following her military service, she pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Management. She built a dedicated professional career as Operations Manager & Production Coordinator with a reputation for implementing standardized processes and improving production efficiency.
Barbara was a passionate Tennessee Volunteer fan and Titans football advocate. You could find her enjoying leisure time traveling with friends, caring for pet dogs, and enjoying the outdoors. She volunteered for local charity and church events and was generous to many in need. Her love for life and positive outlook will be greatly missed.
One can find peace in knowing she was reunited in heaven with her parents who proceeded her in death. Barbara is survived by her sister, Pamela (Donald) Redden and brother, Benjamin (Cecile) Burgess, nephews Jordan (Rebecca) Redden and Kelvin Burgess, and nieces Sydney (Lyndon) Lewis and Cadence Burgess.
A celebration of life funeral service will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Visitation at 11:00 a.m. followed by the service at 12:00 pm. Military honors will be rendered at graveside at 1:00 p.m., Spring Hill Cemetery.
