Mrs. Barbara Anne Crutchfield's Obituary
On May 14th in the early morning hours Barbara Crutchfield passed away surrounded by her loving husband and family. Barbara was born in Middletown, CT and spent much of her adult life there before moving to Tennessee where she met the love of her life Wayne Crutchfield in which she married. Barbara loved flowers and gardening, her favorite season was spring. Spring to Barbara meant new beginnings and she was all about new beginnings. Barbara was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Middletown, CT. Barbara tried many jobs, but helping others was her passion. Barbara pursued a career in healthcare where her talents for helping others was embraced. Barbara wasn’t able to have children of her own, but that didn’t stop her from virtually adopting everyone else’s. Barbara also had a love for her many pets that she found great comfort in their company. Barbara leaves behind her loving husband and best friend, Wayne Crutchfield and his family of Tennessee, her father Jonathan Deming Camp of Norwich, CT, her sister Joyce Camp Molnar and her husband Dan of Bronston, KY. Her brother Michael Camp and his wife Christina of East Hampton, CT. Barbara had many nieces and nephews that will greatly miss her. Barbara will be reunited with her mother Anne Camp Olson, and brothers Christopher and Stephen Camp. Barbara loved and was loved by so many. Barbara will be greatly missed for her infectious smile, loud laugh, and love for life.
