Barbara Ann Baldwin Harris' Obituary
Barbara Ann Baldwin Harris, age 83, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Barbara was born on April 3, 1942, in Russellville, Kentucky, to the late Jesse Ray and Nellie Mae Scruggs Baldwin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Harris; her son, Tracy Lynn Harris; sons-in-law Michael Greene and Eddie Money; brothers Myles Baldwin, Sr. and Tony Baldwin; brothers-in-law Lewis Grossholz, Tom King, Tom Clinard, and Odell Malone; sisters Joyce Malone and Sue Grossholz; sister-in-law Dorothy Baldwin; niece Regina Malone; nephew Collin Grossholz; and her parents-in-law, Ben F. and Goldie Mae Harris.
Affectionately known as “Baba,” Barbara is survived by her daughters, Susan Harris Greene of Hendersonville, TN, and Laurie Harris Money of Westlake Village, CA; seven grandchildren, Candice Haynes, Chassen (Meagan) Haynes, Zachary Money, Jesse Money, Joseph Money, Desmond Money, and Julian Money; great-granddaughters Goldie and Lillian Haynes; sisters Doris King and Jessie Clinard; sister-in-law Minnie Baldwin; and daughter-in-law Kristi Harris, along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Barbara was the ultimate wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was selfless, easygoing, kind, a peacemaker, a great listener, and always there for anyone in need. She was an encourager, a dog lover, and a true Christian lady. Barbara had a passion for football and could engage in long conversations about NFL and SEC players, especially Alabama. She loved her family dearly and considered her siblings her best friends. Proud of her nieces and nephews, she attended all their high school graduations and made every effort to be involved in her grandchildren's activities. Barbara enjoyed being a fun parent, grandparent, and great-grandparent, often referring to herself as the Toys"R"Us kid.
She worked as a Realtor Broker for over forty years, co-owning and serving as CFO alongside her husband, Charles Harris, at Harris Realtors, Prime Brokers Network, Prime Mortgage, and Main Street Mortgage.
