Barbara Faye Jarratt's Obituary
Barbara Faye Jarratt, 83, of Springfield, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Born August 7, 1938 in Nashville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Victor Sendelweck and Elsie Nipper Sendelweck.
She was a graduate of East High School. As a younger woman, Barbara worked at Genesco and Lynn’s Drugs. Her family meant the world to her. She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church in East Nashville. Her family will remember her for her love of Betty Boop and Wal Mart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Janice Osborne.
She is survived by her children Philip Wayne McCord, and Wendi (Chuck) Bolton; grandchildren Chris McCord, Amber McCord, Talia McCord, and Tyler Bolton; great grandchildren Natalie, Kaylee, Kira, and Peyton; fur babies Coco Rene and Ginger Louise.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville from 4pm until 8pm. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service officiated by Mitchell Karnes will take place Wednesday, October 27, at 12 PM noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
