Barbara Ann Wilkerson's Obituary
Barbara Ann Wilkerson, 86, of West Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Barbara was born on October 17, 1937, and was originally from Coopertown, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Lonnie Wilkerson and David Wilkerson.
Barbara is survived by two sons; Ronnie (Jennifer) Wilkerson and Steven Wilkerson, a daughter, Cynthia Wilkerson, nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and a sister, Mary Jo Dixon.
From a young age, she developed a passion for cooking, a talent that she lovingly shard with her family and friends. Her kitchen was always filled with comforting aromas of her delicious meals, and she took great joy in preparing feasts for family gatherings, holiday and special occasions. Her recipes will continue to be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to taste her culinary creations.
Barbara was a nurturing mother and devoted to her family. She had a warm heart, generous spirit and had unwavering support for her loved ones. Her legacy of love, kindness and cooking will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024, from ten o’clock in the morning until the time of the funeral service at two o’clock in the afternoon at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. Jerry Ladd will officiate. The committal service will be held on Friday, August 23 at two forty-five in the afternoon at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Those who wish to attend should meet at the funeral home at two-thirty in the afternoon.
