Barry Wayne Ballinger's Obituary
Barry Wayne Ballinger, age 68, died peacefully at home on the evening of December 26, 2022.
Barry was born July 25, 1954 in Old Hickory, TN. He was the son of Richard Ballinger and Mary Ballinger.
Barry was an amazing musician who played trombone and guitar. He could play any song he heard and was a lifelong Elvis fan. In his youth he played trombone for the Nashville Youth Symphony and in high school played trombone with the Nashville Symphony on special performances. He was also a member of the Tennessee Troubadours at Tennessee Tech. Barry completed nearly 100 skydives as a member of the United States Parachutes Association. He was able to fix anything and never thought a task was too big to tackle. He had a love of riding Harley Davison motorcycles. He was very proud of his job and the work he was doing at the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation as a Criminal History Examiner. Most of all, he loved to be around family.
Survived by Rebecca Ballinger, son Brian Ballinger (Lauren) granddaughters Lucy and Heidi. And Sam Forsythe (Carolyn).
