Barthell Sherrod's Obituary
SHERROD, Barthell Age 89 of Madison, passed away August 19, 2010 at Jackson Park Christian Home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edd and Ida Sherrod; sister, Nell Petty; brothers, Wofield, Binkley and Sidney Sherrod. He is survived by his sisters, Pauline Ferrell, Opal (Gene) Harper; and several nieces and nephews. He retired from NES and was a member of Neely's Bend Church of Christ. The family wishes to thank Jackson Park and Odyssey Hospice for their wonderful care. The family will receive friends on Sunday at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Rd., Nashville, from 2-6 p.m., and where funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 1 p.m., with Bro. Norman Slate officiating. Visitation on Monday from 11 a.m. until service time. Family members will serve as Pallbearers. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
