Beatrice Cox Hewitt's Obituary
HEWITT, Beatrice Cox; Age 96 of Madison, TN passed away September 1, 2010. She was born January 4, 1914, to the late Norman Vester Cox Sr., and Mamie Belle Sullivan. She was preceded in death by husbands, William Young Sr. and Charles Hewitt, as well as 6 siblings. She is survived by her children, Patsy (David) Elder, William "Billy" (Beverly) Young Jr., and Joy (Ron) Campbell; a brother, Harold G. Cox; 7 grandchildren, Paula (Steve) Howell, Sharon (Bill) Weisman, Mary Beatrice Harding, Billy Young, Bobby (Julie) Young, Amy Campbell, and Charlie Campbell; as well as 9 great grandchildren. Funeral Ceremonies will be on Friday September 3, 2010 at Noon in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Ron Lowery and Dr. Bill Weisman officiating. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery where family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Hayes Sunday School Class. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8PM at Spring Hill. For those so desiring, memorial contributions may be made to City Road Chapel UMC 701 Gallatin Rd. S. Madison, TN 37115.
