Becky Lynn Shirley's Obituary
Becky Lynn Shirley, 67, of White House passed away on Tuesday, May 5th. At the time of her passing she was reunited with her loving husband, H.L. “Pete” Shirley and her parents, Charles Megibben and Winnie May.
In September of 1993, Pete and Becky began a small business by the name of Drain Doctor LLC. That business may have started small and in a basement, but it grew into one of the most successful drain cleaning businesses around Nashville.
Becky found joy outdoors, especially working in her flower bed, camping with her NASCAR family, and hosting parties around the pool at her home. In her younger years she held nearly every role within the PTA at Rosebank Elementary and was a proud leader of Girl Scout Troop #578. She was a loving “Bemaw” to Jackson and Lincoln; In her later years she would wind down by watching the news, playing solitaire on her iPad, and connecting with her Parkinson’s community online.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Stacey Old (Kevin), Justin Shirley; two grandchildren, Jackson Old and Lincoln Old; her precious fur baby, Ellie Mae Shirley; two brothers Mike Megibben (Angie) and Greg Megibben (April); and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bridges for Parkinson’s Foundation.
