Beecher A. Brewington Jr.'s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Beecher Alexander Brewington, Jr., who left us on July 31st, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Beecher, affectionately known as a gentle giant, was a beloved family man, whose easy-going nature and kind spirit made him the best male role model in the family unit.
Born with a heart full of love and a penchant for humor, Beecher was known for his endless supply of dad jokes, which never failed to bring smiles to those around him. His loving and kind demeanor was a beacon of warmth and comfort to his family and friends.
Beecher proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he demonstrated exceptional bravery and dedication. His time in Vietnam was marked by his courage and commitment, earning him the prestigious Bronze Star among other awards and medals. His service to his country was a testament to his strength and character.
Beyond his military achievements, Beecher had a deep affection for cats, finding joy and companionship in their presence, especially his beloved pal Moo. His love for these furry friends was just another reflection of his gentle and caring nature.
Beecher leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and laughter. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those he touched.
Rest in peace, Beecher. Your gentle spirit and loving heart will never be forgotten.
In addition to his parents Beecher Brewington, Sr. and Billie Brewington, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Geraldine Smith Brewington. Left to cherish his memory are his sons Michael (Erica) Brewington and Toby (Cindy) Brewington; grandson Dalein Brewington; sisters Mary Roberts and Ann Foster; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, "Where Nashville Comes to Remember."
