Mr. Bernard A. Wehby's Obituary
Bernard A. Wehby, age 86, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Wehby; his parents, Sam Joseph and Sultana Wehby; three brothers, Jack Wehby, Terry Wehby, Norman Wehby; two sisters, Elizabeth Wehby, Alma Wehby; one niece, Shirley Welch. He is survived by two nephews, Mickey Wehby, Samuel Wehby; one niece, Dolores Young (Sam). Bernard was a very hard worker his whole life. He was a student of history, being very well read in both history and biographies. He enjoyed working in his yard and painting. Bernard and a group of his friends went from Father Ryan High School into the Marine Corps where he was a recipient of the Purple Heart in the Korean War. He was a combat veteran with a huge heart who helped many people throughout his life. Visitation for Bernard will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 10 AM until 11 AM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, 1001 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210.
